Hi.  I'm new here.  I've just read all of the posts about the Adept series.  I've read, loved, and reread all of the Adept books and Lammas Night.  Does anyone have any idea what the timetable for publication of the rumored new Adept book might be?

Right now KK is refocusing on her Deryni works and working on the third book in the Childe Morgan trilogy but as far as I know she has no plans to abandon the Adept series either.  I couldn't tell you when there will be another Adept book, but I'm sure there will be one eventually.
"If having a soul means being able to feel love, loyalty, and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans."

James Herriot (James Alfred "Alfie" Wight), when a human client asked him if animals have souls.  (I don't remember in which book the story originally appeared.)

I know this is an old topic, but I just remembered something relevant.

KK mentioned in chat some time ago (27 March 2011) that her next project after CM3 is finished would probably be Hunting by Gaslight, which will be an Adept prequel set in Victorian times.

Just thought I'd drop that in here.
