FS Character Traits

Hi Bynw.  Asking for clarification between Sharpshooter and Marksman. both require a Focus action first. then Sharpshooter says you can Test to make a Called shoot. Do we know what the Test is?
Marksman says during an "Attack" you get success with 3,4,5 or 6. So is this ONLY during combat with a human or creature?

Clarification would be helpful. Thanks.

You can resist against the Powers of Deryni influence and protect your thoughts against intrusion. Anytime a Deryni targets you with their powers you get a Save Test at Disadvantage. If you succeed the power does not work on you. Only a Human can have this Trait.


Any Human that has the Resistance Trait as their Heritage Trait. If they acquire the Spell-Trained Trait then the Save Test becomes a Standard roll (2d6) instead of at Disadvantage.

Remember that Spell-Trained is the only "Deryni" Trait a Human is able to learn. It provides no powers, just and understanding of Deryni Magic.

Again, this is only if the chosen Heritage Trait was Resistance. Remember that the Heritage Trait is immutable and cannot be changed once chosen at Character Creation. Other Traits can be swapped out if so desired.

If a Human character sometime after creation gets the Resistance and Spell-Trained Traits, they do not get the added bonus as described above.
