I laughed and loved Edwin and Bede figuring this horrid misplacement of memories. Proof that this Jester MacBee is trouble, and that Edwin, being a Deryni himself, needs to learn to protect himself better.
Wonderful Marc, I had not read this in its completion and I found this delightful. Even if the characters are all wet and perplexed.

It seems a little strange that when Collos first examined him Airich  could not raise his shields due to Merasha but now he is able to slam them down so hard he shoved both Any and Darius out despite still being full of Merasha.

Desperation. Plus they gave him that drug that was lessoning the effects of the merasha.
