I really want to hear what Celeste has to say about this imbroglio. And Wash needs to tell Kelson that he owes his survival of his kidnapping to Amy, how close he was to death in that dungeon. Kelson also needs to know Amy's role in the ritual that cleared Airich's mind. The king needs to understand what is owed to Amy.

Hm. Throwing one's Deryni weight around and mistreating the common folk hardly seems like the best way to impress a man one hopes to wed one's daughter to, when that man already has a sensitive spot towards Deryni who abuse their powers to intimidate or take advantage of humans....

You are right of course.  But Conte Orfeo had a bad crossing of the Southern Sea in fall time. He is irritated after two weeks travel. As is his Castelleno. Not sure, but I think they thought throwing their authority around would make them look important and strong in the final negotiations.  I don't think they are aware of Sir Airich's concerns about Deryni abuse.  They soon will be. I assure you.

I LOLed when she wrote the part about getting hit in the ear with a head of cabbage. So apparently Wash and cabbage are a funny combination.

I would have you know that it was our Game master who declared the carriage attacked by a flurry of thrown vegetables. So Wash and Airich can blame Bynw.

That turned out to be quite a melee. I laughed at Airich using the flat of his sword on the rumps of the men trying to climb into the carriage. Laurna , loved the stampede and Airich's heroic rescue of the carriage and its occupants.Kelson will not be pleased but I hope Wash and Airich make clear the main instigator was Orfeo and his castellan and their behavior was in no way justified by a rough sea voyage. Can't wait to hear what they say.

I fail to understand why you would cheer on the murderous Williamites whose goal is to destroy, fueled by hate .  Hardly the behavior of true Christians or clergy.
