and I had to call him back from two forages deep in the woods on Friday
afternoon. Plus, he's taken to wading into the pond to drink, and then
coming out soaking wet onto his tummy. Not amusing.

having a paper due right after thanksgiving...

[16:32] <KK> Had a bit of a scare with Edgar, right after he came home
from the kennel--fluid congestion around his lungs again, but we upped
his diuretic and he seems to be much better now. Still, I'll be
surprised if he makes it through the winter. :-(
[16:33] <Kelric> it's even worse because said professor's assignments
are so confusing to figure out what she actually WANTS.

[16:33] <Shiral> Poor Oswald, how old is he now?
[16:33] <KK> Oswald is 8 1/2. Edgar is 17 1/2.

[16:34] <KK> Oswald also had his health issues last weekend--vomiting
and diarrhea such that we took him to his regular vet on Saturday AM,
then to the emergency vet late that night, where he stayed for the next
two nights on IV fluids.

cheaper on the weekend, but I no longer have unlimited connection time
like I had before--and couldn't transfer that service to the new
number--which isn't mine anyway. But it's a different area code, so I
was doomed no matter what.
