[18:19]<KK> Quiet but nice.  I was going to make steaks and baked sweet potatoes, but Cameron had to drive over to Virginia Beach with a trailer, to pick up the Subaru Brat he'd bought on e-bay (tp replace one back in L.A., that he's selling--also on e-bay; cheaper than shipping it out and fising it up--so we decided to delay until tonight.

[18:23]<KK> Just finished watching a ghastly movie (to keep me company while I sort and toss paper) called Reign of the Gargoyles.  Not my kind of gargoyles, that's for sure!

[18:25]<KK> They were attacking American soldiers during WW II--and also attacking Nazis.  Our guys finally got the leader with the Spear of Destiny. Pretty puny premise.  There was this ghastly info-dump in the middle, when the female sidekick told about how the gargoyles got that way, and how they could be destroyed.
[18:25]<KK> Now, something called Splinter is on in the background--even more ghastly.

[18:27]<KK> He's turning out to be an interesting character.  Not certain how long he'll get to live.  But maybe I can figure out a way to let him retire honorably.

[18:28]<KK> Yes and no.  I's forced me to come up with some of my best plot devices.
[18:29]<Shiral> But I'd advise him to be careful on staircases, and with anything he eats or drinks, just the same. =o)

[18:33]<KK> Perhaps.  But it would be nice to keep him around for a while.  Might save him some hassles, once he goes to court for proper page's and squire's training, after Keneth dies.

[18:34]<KK> I suspect so.

[18:39]<the_Bee> I'd like to see Nigel and Meraude's courtshipp--and Brion's and Jehana's too, of course.
