[19:11]<KK> Cameron has wired the whole house for wifi, so I was able to dump the old dsl connection and join the Comcast link that Scott was already using.

[19:11]<KK> Desk is pretty much cleared, and I've started writing again.

[19:12]<KK> Ankle is pretty much healed, almost all the bruising gone, and I've returned to working at the Y several times a week.

[19:13]<KK> Different machines from what I was using at Y Express, and I have lots of sore muscles, but I can see and feel the difference since I started in Mid-September.

[19:14]<KK> I trust that everyone is managing to stay reasonable warm and cozy?
[19:14]<Kelsa> I always have the best intentions, but work too many hours and come home exhausted

[19:15]<KK> It got down to 12 F the night before last; no snow yet, though.
[19:15]<Kelsa> it was below zero here in Mass
[19:15]<TheDeryni> He, hit -5 F here, but nothing compared to Bynw.

[19:15]<KK> Anyway, it's definitely winter.  Our fountain is frozen and looks like a wedding cake, though the water is still running under the ice.
[19:16]<the_Bee> we in MA got UP to 12 last Friday.
[19:16]<Bynw> -25 F or lower ... Anchorage had warmer weather than Iowa
[19:16]<Kelsa> wow - no thanks!
[19:16]<KK> Wind chill has taken us as low as -17 F.
[19:16]<TheDeryni> It was colder in FL than AK
[19:16]<Bynw> wind chill got us down to -35 or worse
[19:16]<KK> Brrrr!
[19:16]<jemler> Palin in the Governor. All that hot air.

[19:17]<KK> Cats have been staying inside, and dog only goes outside when he has to.
[19:17]<Kelsa> my son and husband were out sledding earlier in the new snow
[19:17]<KK> Anyway, I've got to dash.  Hungry guys waiting for me to fix supper.
[19:17]<the_Bee> I had a doctor's appointment on the coldest day.  it really wasn't bad, bundled up and virtually no wind.
