[18:21]<KK> I was sucked into them almost every evening for the past two weeks.
[18:21]<jemler> enough snow outside without watching it on tv!

[18:22]<KK> Love the various skating events, got caught up in the speed skating and snow-boarding.
[18:22]<jojo> Howdy KK!  my favorite is the ice skating.
[18:22]<KK> I missed most of the performance last night, but what I saw was neat.
[18:22]<the_Bee> I haven't been watching except for clips on the news.
[18:23]<KK> I like the winter games better than the summer--though I do like gymnastics.
[18:23]<jemler> Not enough bikinis in the winter games!
[18:23]<the_Bee> when do/did you meet with Sony?
[18:24]<KK> I don't meet, but Alex meets with them in about 2 weeks.  They keep pushing it back.
[18:24]<the_Bee> sounds frustrating.
[18:24]<KK> Yep.  I try to just put it out of mind.
[18:24]<jemler> do you get the rights to the screenplay?
[18:25]<KK> I have rights to the characters and the storyline, but I haven't written the script--so I guess the answer is no.
[18:26]<jojo> I hope you were able to get some more on the new book.
[18:27]<KK> I've come up with some fascinating plot permutations.  But the actual writing is going slowly, as I work out plot twists.

[18:28]<jemler> Bee and I were talking last week about whether Barrett ever told Jehana he was on the Council.
[18:29]<the_Bee> or if he even told her the Council existed.
[18:31]<KK> That's way in the future, and I'm not writing in that time period right now.  so the answer is, I don't know.

[18:33]<jojo> Bynw, if you're listening, how is the repair of the website coming along?
[18:35]<KK> I guess he isn't listening.  Anybody know what the problem is?
[18:36]<jojo> it seems a server crashed or was taken offline, but the bulk of the files were retained.  However, I don't know about getting those files, or putting them on new server(s).
[18:37]<the_Bee> The company that runs the site went out of business without warning.  Bynw has most of the stuff, and he's trying to reinstall it.

[18:53]<KK> Not too badly. Booker is still doing his obedience classes, but it's slow going.  There's a bit bull mastiff "puppy" who was using him as a chew toy last week, when all Booker wanted was to play.  But he's learning.
[18:54]<KK> Our snow is starting to melt, but we may get some more in the next day or two.  We topped all-time records, at over 50 inches.
[18:55]<the_Bee> That storm missed New England, but a later one hit northern N.E. pretty bad.

[18:56]<jemler> even my new wheelchair gets stuck in deep snow, someone has to push me out.

[18:57]<jemler> no. it just gets too deep to drive thru.
[18:57]<jemler> i'd like to get the new ReWalk device. that would be good.

[18:58]<jemler> it's a device created by a guy in Israel. It has leg braces with motors that do the walking for you. I would be able to stand up, walk, go up/down stairs. For only $40,000!

[19:00]<jemler> i don't know. the steering wheel would have to tilt up so i could move my legs under it. maybe. i'll have to get a drivers license though.

[19:02]<jemler> i never needed a license before. i either walked or rode a motor scooter.
