There's an old list that has been going around for years:

1. Mrs. Bolynne: "Annie, don't loose your head over some man!"
2. Queen Olympias of Macedon, "Alex, you can't have everything you want!"
3. Frau Schubert: "Franzie, don't start something you can't finish!"
etc.

What are some "Famous Last Words of Famous Mothers" for the Deryniverse could we come up with?

Evie

The Dowager Countess of Culdi:  "Remember, Camber, you only have one life to give for your Kingdom."
Lady Thuryn: "Rhys, dear, always be careful when taking the stairs."
Queen Richeldis:  "Brion, kingship has its perils.  Always check to make sure your drink isn't spiked before you taste it!"
Alyce de Corwyn de Morgan:  "Kenneth, darling, Alaric is too young to wear mourning colors.  Please dress him in bright fabrics for me.  Not just black and dark colors; he'll look like a crow!"

;D
"In necessariis unitas, in non-necessariis libertas, in utrisque caritas."

--WARNING!!!--
I have a vocabulary in excess of 75,000 words, and I'm not afraid to use it!
