The pour paints are made from a mixture of acrylic paint and glue (and IIRC, a little water to thin it?), plus if you want cells to form in the artwork, you can add a drop or two of one of various liquids that contain silicone (I have an automotive lubricant and also a hair conditioner that I have tested). You mix up each color separately, then one method is to pour <clipped message>

Then if you have a heat gun or one of those things you use to burn the sugar on top of creme brulee, you can use that to make bubbles form to create the cells, but I have neither, so I tried usi <clipped message>

Ever since reading about Barrett in KK's books, I had wanted to explore how Deryni senses might help in dealing with other types of disabilities, so that was one of the reasons I created Lisette as someone who had lost her hearing at a young age, but who had learned to compensate somewhat due to having Deryni abilities, and now a sympathetic partner who knows how to use those gifts in order to be more intentionally inclusive.

I have been rereading Maidens of Mayhem and very much enjoying it. I especially loved this chapter and the way the relationship between Lisette and Stefan began. I especially liked the way Stefan realized that she could not hear the music but would like to. I think he is actually the perfect choice for her.
