Me too, DR!
Me too :)
'Fraid I'm a second-edition owner, too. ::)
I've got a first edition Codex, but I'm not sure what number it is.
Kathleen/Lenni
second edition here
I am now the proud owner of #237. the copy is signed and appears to be unused. Looks and feels like it is brand new. It was not cheep, but I feel so lucky to have gotten it.
I am one of the 500 hardcover original codex owners. #210 (edited with the correct number)
I did get mine when they first came out so it was the original $50 for it. Of course now they go for hundreds of dollars when they show up on Ebay and other places.
I have the second edition. Mine is a soft cover. Congrats to those who managed to score one of the original hard cover editions.
I poke my nose in here semi-irregularly. :)
I've got #178; I was the original (and only) purchaser.
I have copy 31. I had to return my first cooy for a new one because it arrived damaged.
I have copy #92. I also have the softcover edition.
I have a copy of the Codex. I find it hard to know if someone is Deryni or Human. I can't tell if the Codex is clear on that. Is Davet Nevan Deryni? It doesn't say in his entry that he is, but I thought, upon reading the Camber trilogy, that he was.
The Codex does clearly state on some characters if they are Human or Deryni. But apparently it's not there for all characters.
Very late to this, but I have one of the 500 originals. #498 to be exact

That's pretty cool. I'm not sure I've ever even seen one of the original first editions, though I own the paperback edition.

Man, you just barely squeaked into that club, didn't you? :)
I rarely take my hardcover version off the shelf. It's the softcover mass market one that I use regularly.
Long time fan, who just stumbled across this place. I'm #348.
Welcome!

If you are talking owning the book, I think I have a couple copies

Lvirden, do you own one of the numbered hardcover copies?
A few years ago I managed to purchase a first cover addition which like Bywn's stays on the shelf in its nice hard case. I am so happy I found it.
As for my 2nd addition, soft covers, I have two of them. One now has so many notes in it and the pages are starting to tear out, so I bought the second copy just in case I need it soon. LOL
I was lucky enough to find copy #24 online. Unfortunately, it came without the slipcover, but I am so happy to have it!
Well, I managed to pickup a second hard cover first edition! This one came with the slipcase! #196
Couldn't pass it up!
