I geeked out far more than I expected, neat site! Also went to the Croatan museum and site, and had great fun with my new,

[19:06] <CambersGhost> [discord] <evie.delacourt> I'm fortunate to live in a neighborhood where my kids could grow up pretty much the same way I did. All the parents looked out for each other's kids and knew when it was time to send them home.

[19:06] <CambersGhost> [discord] <shiral_> One of my best friends' mother was a teacher, so on staff meeting days, she'd come over to my house and we'd watch tv together until her mother came to pick her up.
[19:07] <CambersGhost> [discord] <evie.delacourt> But we live on a cul-de-sac that comes off a loop that stems off a road that not much traffic goes down, so pretty much no one comes into our neighborhood unless they live here.

The Houles were all over playing at the Gerard's house, or else the Gerards were all over playing at our house. We were each 4 kid families, and our ages/grades were pretty similar. That was a fun period.
