[18:14] <Evie> When my son was in fourth grade, I asked his teacher for advice on how to strengthen his spelling skills, which were abysmal at the time.  She said not to worry; he'd eventually catch on, but if he didn't, there were always spell checkers to fall back on.  I told her that was fine for word processors...

[18:15] <Evie> but that I also wanted him to know how to handle this low-tech instrument known as a pen.  :-D

[19:19] <KK> The modern generation doesn't understand black and white.
[19:20] <Alkari> No, and some of it is just simply fantastic use of lighting

[19:20] <Alkari> They could get atmosphere in B&W more than in some special effects in some ways
