Hm. Duncan would like to know, if Alaric intervenes in this situation in any way, would that count as one of the two miracles required for canonization as a saint? Because our dear Archbishop would find that quite the belly laugh if there is ever a St. Alaric!   ;D

I wonder if a potential Saint can actually refuse the honour.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

I don't think I would call it saintly when it involves spell casting and protection enchantments. If so, even Celsie's protection embroideries might be considered life-saving. When it is really the prayer spells that she cast that would make it so.

One person's magic is another person's miracle, though, from a perceptions standpoint. All it would take would be for enough people to think a miracle had occurred.  After all, how is St. Camber still sticking around 200 years later? Is that due to a miracle, or magic? Or perhaps, again, possibly it might be seen as either or both, depending on the beholder?

Oh dear, Wash is in Grecotha where the king forbade him to go with, it seems, no way to find  those he seeks.

So near and yet so far.

Dangling again, but at least Wash is there and there is Hope.

We are finding hope. Thank you DFK for your caring.

Oh goodness, dangling again waiting to see what happens when Wash actually sees the inside of the safe house and what's going on.

And WHO is inside too.

Agreed about the Who is in the safe house. Hope Wash remembers what Lord Iain told him about guaranteeing all those he would find inside.

This is an amazing scene with the collaboration among all those present, especially Wash and Collos to heal Airich. It will be most interesting to see the outcome. Hope Airich will be completely healed. Hope Wash and Iain don't get in too much trouble with the king. Of course Wash will need to get back to Gwynedd without getting caught. Lots more to come.

Wash promises to do his very best to get back to his lady love, waiting for him in Rhemuth.

After their collaboration on the healing of Airich, I wonder what will evolve in the relationship between Wash and Collos.

DFK,  I too was wondering the same thing.
