Does anyone know if a Saint Camber medallion has ever been made?  I've always wanted one, but after searching the web for years I'm pretty much giving up.

There was a limited supply of medallions made about 20+ years ago. And the supply has been exhausted. I checked with the original creator of them and the company that made them overseas is not available any more.

I wonder if a mold could be made of one to cast more?

It might be possible. You would have to find someone that could cast off of that mold.

My husband would know how, though whether he has the supplies to do so is a separate question.

There must be someone on Etsy who'd be up for a custom job like that.

True. Heck, worst case scenario, I'll bet someone could 3D print some. It wouldn't be as nice, but it could be better than nothing.

I'm pretty sure my DH would have the skills to make them. What I'm less sure about is whether or not he would have the time. The only time I remembering him making a modern coin-style medallion (with an embossed figure on it like a modern coin, I mean, not an engraved image), it looked great, but it was apparently a pain to design and do the prep work for (I think he used either a sand or wax casting process), and he no longer has access to the work space he needed in order to make it. :(  He also had a live model whose photos he could use to draw out the profile, since it was meant to commemorate her elevation to the SCA Order of the Laurel, while with a Camber medallion the Camber figure would need to be designed from scratch.

(I'll try to attach a picture of the medallion, since I think he did a great job with it. I'm just not sure he would be able to set up the sort of work space that he needs to make new ones at the moment.)
