misfortune to run into an old high school ex-girlfriend during
Valentines Day <G>

[18:20] <Martine> Much to his dismay and Marian's amusement, the ex is
rather interested in socializing extensively <hee hee>
[18:21] <KK> Gus is now helping me type. And Sasha has officially
moved in; came upstairs very tentatively last Tuesday, and has been up
every day since, and flakes out on the couch in my office.
[18:21] <Martine> Good for him! Brave kitty :-)
[18:21] <Mistyck> that's great to hear about Sasha!
[18:21] <KK> The others still hate him, though Edgar is being tolerant.
[18:21] <Shiral> "Okay, I've decided to become YOUR cat"
[18:21] <Sedina> Bueller actually hid from Keely yesterday when she was
in our place alone
[18:21] <KK> Gus is very jealous.

[18:21] <Shiral> well, Gus definitely has a thing for you, Katherine

kitties...especially of Evaine

[18:22] <Martine> I got sucked into helping a cat rescue/adoption
organization yesterday. Help. Me.
[18:22] <KK> Yep. And Sasha is a happy lap cat, interestingly enough,
given the fact that he was born and reared in a stable.
[18:22] <Martine> Well, I'm sure he appreciates the comfort of a warm
bed ;-)
[18:22] <Mistyck> yep
[18:22] <Sedina> yeah, you go from making my invites to making cards
for them *lol* Glutton for punishment?
[18:22] <KK> Of course, that was good enough for another King. Maybe
Sasha is a prince in disguise. The motley grey and white coat is good
for that.
[18:22] <Shiral> And the absence of hooves
[18:23] <Martine> That's not mentioning the five hours I put in
yetserday helping them get kittens adopted.
[18:23] <Bynw> i gave Neko to my mom when Tika and I got our new apt
(we can have pets) but my mom has grown rather attached to Neko
[18:23] <KK> Gus defiitely regards me as His Person.
[18:23] <Mistyck> aww, that was sweet Bynw

[18:23] <Martine> lol
[18:24] <Martine> Gus will defend his possessions, will he?

[18:24] <Sedina> Sadie still isn't too thrilled by having Bueller
around because it means that she's not getting enough attention
[18:24] <KK> Bueller is a marshmallow.
[18:24] <Martine> Rowena is oddly absent tonight. She napped on my lap
for a bit, then wandered off.
[18:24] <Bynw> so we are gonna save up some funds and finally get my
bengal kitten that i've wanted to get for a several years now
[18:24] <Sedina> she used to cuddle with me all the time, but Bueller
has kind of claimed me
[18:24] <Martine> LOL Bueller definitely is!
[18:24] <Shiral> Flat Cat Syndrome has broken out here
[18:25] <Sedina> Just wait until you meet the horse-cat, Martine
[18:25] <RainbowDragon> a bengal kitten?
[18:25] <Shiral> Especially since my gang had their supper not long ago
[18:25] <Sedina> bengal's are gorgeous

[18:25] <Sedina> I like the marbled ones
[18:25] <Martine> You mean Sadie's not gonna stake her claim against a
cat twice her size, Sedina? <g>
[18:25] <Shiral> Bengals are beautiful They're also very lively and
have to be entertained
[18:25] <Sedina> Well, he's not twice her size
[18:25] <Martine> I'm becoming partial to tuxedos and harlequins after
yesterday's kitten batch :-)
[18:25] <Sedina> You will see though that we don't have small kitties
at my place
[18:25] <Shiral> They also like to play with water
[18:26] <KK> Sasha is going to be a horse, I think. He's into another
growth spurt. Paws have turned to paddles almost overnight. (He's now
in his 3rd year, which is when they sort of finish growing.)
[18:26] <Bynw> there are 3 breeders in iowa ... 2 of which are within
an hour drive (one is like 20 minutes)
[18:26] <Martine> Oh my! Another big kitty!

[18:26] <Shiral> Nina has great big paws for her size
[18:26] <Martine> ROTFL... and speak of the Rowena devil....
[18:26] <Shiral> I wonder what her Daddy was like

[18:26] <Sedina> Bueller is only just now turning two.....I hope to God
that he doesn't grow anymore

[18:26] <KK> Scott loves Bengals, but we could never allow one to run
free. They're very expensive, and someone might steal it.

going to be huge

pizza, or peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.

[18:29] <Martine> She thinks she's an omnivore.
[18:29] <Shiral> I eat dinner with an audience every night
[18:30] <Shiral> They believe in "Audience participation" too
[18:30] <Martine> THis isn't just audiencing. This is what she's
actually stolen from me! <laugh>
[18:30] <Martine> And eaten more than a bite or two.

[18:30] <KK> So do we. Especially if there's chicken. Edgar gets
quite aggressive about it, as does Jessie.
[18:30] <Shiral> Oh, mine work in teams, I'm convinced

[18:30] <Mistyck> Mika once bit into a box of pizza and ate about 3/4
of a slice
[18:30] <Shiral> Two to distract, the third to steal
[18:30] <KK> Teams. Absolutely!
[18:30] <Mistyck> last time I left the pizza on the stove
[18:31] <Sedina> chicken or turkey always makes the hungry crowds
gather
[18:31] <Shiral> I can't leave food lying out. So it all gets served or
put into the fridge right away
[18:31] <Mistyck> I found that out...she also ate up my garlic bread
[18:32] <Martine> I think the most amusing was when Rowena ate
wasabi-laden sushi.
[18:32] <Shiral> Izzy once stole a raw porkchop right off my kitchen
counter
[18:32] <Mistyck> youch
[18:32] <Martine> A minute later, she got this very odd & surprised
look on her face when it came back up! <laugh>
[18:32] <Mistyck> Chance is more likely to do that
[18:32] <Shiral> lol
[18:32] <KK> Sigh. I've got to hit the bed, guys. I'm exhausted from
ripping out morning glory vines. And it was hot! And there were big
ol' horse flies!
