[17:30] <KK> Sasha's whiskers are all back, albeit that some of them
are still shorter than on the other side. But it's amazing how the
cut-off ones know to fall out so the new ones can replace them.
[17:30] <Bee> cats are smart--even their whiskers are intelligent
[17:30] <Debbie-VB> I'm glad to hear that Sacha's doing Ok with the new
wiskers
[17:31] <KK> I suppose it's the same sort of savvy as the skin knowing
what kind of fur to grow, to make the patterns--or the individual hairs
that can be striped in 3-4 colors from root to tip. God's wonders at
work....

[17:31] <KK> I mean, how do those hairs know how to do that?
[17:31] <Sedina> It is really kind of amazing
[17:32] <Shiral> yeah. Pretty amazing, especially cats with tabby or
tortoiseshell coats
[17:32] <Sedina> I'm still trying to figure out what color of hair I
have now
[17:32] <KK> Speaking of hairs, Kim, are yours growing back?
[17:32] <Debbie-VB> I think it has something to do with genes
[17:32] <Shiral> Francesca has hairs that go through about three
different colors in one strand

I put up (the family and friends one), you can see a picture of me with
my little cousin Whitney
[17:33] <Sedina> it was taken when I was down in KC the other weekend

cat fur toupees <G>

[17:35] <Sedina> I had to laugh at Sister Rogeen the other day. We had
just come back from my radiation treatment and as I walked in the Gift
of Life, she looked at me and exclaimed "Your hair!" something like
three times. And then later, when she was giving a tour of the house,
we were in the dining room, so she had to stop and feel my hair

back wavy or curly too.

[17:38] <Sedina> some days my hair looks blonde, others it looks kind
of brunette.....and yet there still seems to be a few red highlights
[17:38] <Mistyck> the red will come back
[17:38] <KK> And when it gets just a bitty longer, you'll be able to
sleep on it weird and have really odd cowlicks....
[17:38] <Sedina> they're just not really enough of it to get a good
overall feel for the color yet
[17:38] <Bee> maybe your hair has forgotten what color it's supposed to
be?
[17:39] <Mistyck> why *do* they call them "cowlicks"??
[17:39] <Sedina> unfortunately, now that my hair on my head is growing
back, that means that the rest of my hair is growing back too. I
managed to clog a few razors

[17:39] <Shiral> I grow in, I fall out, I grow back in.. honestly,
can't this girl make up her mind about whether she wants hair??"

for a while, it's trying to figure out a really special color to be for

soft, baby-fine hair coming in....
[17:41] <Sedina> I need to actually go in and have my eyebrows shaped
because they've filled out too
[17:41] <Bee> and being licked by a cow ;o)
[17:41] <Shiral> Think soft, lovely hair... in a very nice color...

back yet is my armpits.....not that I'm complaining!

my eyelids that I start to object.
